Terms & Conditions to book with Palmetto Venues

Thanks for your interest in hosting your private event with us. Please see summary of terms to use venue. Effective March 1, 2024

Nonrefundable retainer to reserve venue:

  • 50% of the venue amount

  • A reserved venue requires both confirmed payment and the signing of a venue agreement.

  • A valid government ID is necessary to secure a venue reservation.

  • Person reserving venue must be 21 years or older.

Incidental deposit:

  • A $250 (Royal Grove) / $350 (Palm Royale) incidental deposit will be included in your final bill and refunded within 5 days after your event, provided there is no damage to the venue or its equipment/supplies, and no overtime use.

Cancellation and payment of balance:

  • To prevent paying the remaining venue balance, cancel your event at least 6 weeks in advance, but please note that the non-refundable retainer will be lost.

  • For rescheduling, please inform us before the 6-week mark. Your non-refundable retainer will be credited towards your new date within one year from the original booking, with applicable rescheduling fees.

Payment Methods:

  • Initial payment: Zelle, Cash, Cashier’s Check/Money Order and Credit Card. Note: A 4.5% credit card processing fee will be added to the payment

  • Final payment: Zelle, Cash, Cashier’s Check/Money Order.

Final payment:

  • Due 30 days before your event. If you book your event less than 30 days to your event, all venue fees will be due on reserving venue.

Not allowed on our venue premises:

  • No smoking or vaping allowed on the premises.

  • No glitter or confetti.

  • No use of tape on venue walls.

  • No real flames except for warming food and candles for the event cake. Floating candles allowed as long as they are not exposed flames and in a container.

  • Table covers must be placed on each table being utilized for the event.  Important: A linen or non-flammable table cover must be used on tables in which food warmers will be placed. ​

  • No helium air balloons allowed in our Palm Royale room due to our high ceilings. Regular balloons allowed.
